Evert Frolich. Vice chairman. Evert
lived in Deir ez-Zor, northeastern Syria, for three years (1997-2000)
working for Shell. A regular visitor of the excavations at Tell Sabi
Abyad, he became fascinated by the ancient civilizations brought back
to life by a decicated team in cooperation with people from the local
village. At the time already an enthousiastic supporter and a skilled
"water carrier" for the team, Evert has recently retired and
is now contributing his efforts to the continuity of this unique project.
